I'd try planting a few in pots either indoors or on your porch and then transplanting. This way, you can try a number of methods (pre-freeze, cracking, soaking, different planting season, ect.) and reduce the chance of acorn loss via worms or squirrels.

Also, even if I don't gamble, I heard there was a way for someone under 21 but over 18 to get a wristband and be able to walk the floors. I don't really want to gamble but it's my boyfriends 21st Birthday thing and he wants me to go as well. So what are

If no one is at the entranceway, maybe you won't get carded, but if you do they aren't letting you walk the floors too much.

The House Ways and Means Committee held a well-attended and strongly-debated public hearing on the casino bill Monday in Concord.
Members of both sides on expanded gambling made their cases on the bill itself as well as proposed amendments, including one that would expand the number of licenses awarded in the bill from two to four based on region and local approval.
State Sen. Chuck Morse, R-Salem, spoke strongly in favor of the passage of HB 593 saying the state could recapture the $80 million per year residents currently spend outside the state to gamble.
