I really like to play over at DoylesRoom...it's a really fun poker experience, user friendly and the graphics are awesome.... You just pick a table and play....I've tried a couple of other sites but this one is really cool and backed up by Doyle himself....

if you dont want to download anything then www.ladbrokes.co.uk is your best bet(nice pun)

however, iv always found the best poker games are full tilt poker or partypoker. and yes all 3 use free chips if you want.

you can download the software of almost any online poker room and play for free, i used to play (for free only for fun and practice) on carbonpoker - http://www.carbonpoker.com/ , fulltilt - fulltiltpoker.com and pacific poker - http://www.pacificpoker.com

It's all a crapshoot. If you are not willing to put up your own money, the tournaments that offer big prizes are going to have thousands of entries.

One of the ones they advertise right now is playing poker at Atlantis with Daniel Negreanu.

Poker Hand Matchup: Justin Bonomo vs. Tobias Reinkemeier

    22.05.12 Outcome

Final table, heads-up, with the blinds at 25,000 and 50,000 and a 5,000 ante, Reinkemeier raised to 125,000 from the button, Bonomo reraised to 350,000, Reinkemeier went all-in, Bonomo called.

    Analysis

Reinkemeier started the hand with 30 big blinds and a small pair. He didn’t necessarily have to shove preflop as he would enjoy position post flop and his chip position was not yet at code red. That might have been helpful after the sequence of Bonomo’s three-bet followed with the Ace on the flop, and given him a chance to get away from his holding. On the other hand, he was laboring under a substantial chip disadvantage and his opponent could easily discount his standard button raise with an aggressive three-bet steal. For these cases his all-in will foil such a steal, as he still had plenty of fold equity to get the muck from a good part of Bonomo’s three-bet range. The all-in could protect his vulnerable pair and spare him from a board which would surely bring overcards, and begin closing the gap. Ultimately he opted for the preflop all-in, but Bonomo proved to be strong in this situation and was ready with the call. Bonomo quickly won the race with the Ace, leaving Reinkemeier drawing thin to the backdoor wheel draw and his set. Reinkemeier earned €1,064,000 for his runner up finish, adding to his impressive results in high-roller events and moving him to $4.3M in tournament earnings. Bonomo’s victory was good for €1,640,000 – his largest cash to date which moved his lifetime earnings to $5.3M. He was one of seven players to re-enter the event, ponying up €200,000 while showing tremendous confidence in the face of a daunting field. His final table included Katchalov, Duhamel (who bubbled) Negreanu, Kagawa, Antonius, Reinkemeier and Elky!

U.S. Online Poker Regulation Updates From Mainstream Media

    22.05.12

Online poker regulation got a bit of run in the mainstream press this week, with stories from the Los Angeles Times and Reuters addressing the subject.

A lengthy piece from Reuters’ Joseph Menn, which you can read here , addresses the rush of U.S. gaming firms to partner with firms that have a background in online gaming. Menn’s story also notes that many of these partnerships involve non-U.S. firms with a few skeletons in their closets.
