Are there any professional poker players that you know thier "reading list" i.e. the books/training methods that they used to learn and progress at the beginnings of their career? I'm especially interested in Durrrr/Tom Dwan, as he learned
I'm guessing they read every poker book they can find. I wouldn't be surprised if these guys have read and reread 50+ books on the topic. It seems every author has a unique insight about the game so we never have a reason not to read a new poker book.

to me you are overcomplicating things. you raise. usually in those situations the first person to bet wins. I know there are all types of scenarios but don't read to deep. those scenarios are very unlikely. even if they reraise you you can just fold.

it's in reading the expressions, in this type of situation, i believe you leave yourself blank and let them roll how they roll, it'll keep the level from rising and make it easier to keep your head on straight.
