Why do casinos use mulitple deck shoes in blackjack 21?
Jul 14, 2008 by Jimmie | Posted in Gambling
When I go to Las Vegas and play blackjack I notice that some casinos use multiple deck shoes (more than one deck combined) when dealing blackjack. Why do they do that? Is it only so they can deal more hands without having to stop and shuffle the cards?
it is to discourage card counting
and no a days many casinos will will use multiple shoes at each table and change shoes after 4 or 5 deals if there is a full table

How hard is it to find a job dealing blackjack at age 21?
Mar 07, 2007 by Ted | Posted in Las Vegas
I have recently turned 21 and decided that I am going to try to find a job dealing blackjack. I have been bartending here in Lubbock, TX since I was 18 and am really wanting to move on and out of Lubbock. I have checked out some of the casino schools
My husband has been a dealer for over 10 years and the best way to put your foot on the door is to go to school, you can even take the classes at the community college, or go to a dealer school, on dealer school they also help you with job placement,
