I mean if its possible to beat the casino counting cards then
Most casinos now use multiple decks of cards in a shoe and slide them out on the table. Trying to count face cards and 10's from a 6 deck shoe would be extremely difficult. If you can find a smaller casino still using single decks, you could count.

How do you count cards in black jack?
Apr 18, 2009 by some guy | Posted in Gambling
I just watched the movie 21, and I don't understand how to keep track of cards. If you are a black jack fan, this question is for you.
It cant be learned overnight, and you will need to buy one or more books on it, and read them ten times before you finally understand what card counting TRUELY is.
Most people have this sense that "there are lots of high cards coming"

It's to my understanding that people that can keep track of it count the face value cards and therefore know the odds of busting later in the deck.

Why is it illegal to count cards in black jack.?
Jun 13, 2007 by andy2210 | Posted in Gambling
How can casinos kick a player out for counting cards in black jack. I dont understand why a player cant use his brains to gain an advantage. (Also if you know, how difficult is it to count cards? I understand the general idea. )
Its not illegal, but the casinos have the right to refuse service to anyone.
And they will not kick you out for counting cards. They will only throw you out if you are good at it.

How many decks of cards are black jack machines based on?
May 23, 2010 by H | Posted in Gambling
I'd like to use basic strategy with the black jack machines, but I don't know how many decks they use
Video blackjack is a one deck game, and if "shuffled" after every hand. Most do not pay out properly on blackjack, and do not allow proper strategy, so whether or not you use basic strategy makes little difference.

Ohio Senate to vote on bill regulating state's gambling

COLUMBUS -- A bill that tries to bring order to Ohio's multiple moving parts when it comes to casinos, racetrack slots parlors, and other gambling is headed for a full Senate vote as early as today.
But the Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee on Tuesday stripped from it a controversial provision that would have allowed each of Ohio's 88 counties to designate a single privately run card room that uses professional dealers to run Texas Hold 'Em, poker, blackjack, and other card tournaments for charities.

An illegal gambling mafia in the Philippines gives local authorities an ultimatum: take money from us and allow gambling, or face our foot soldiers.
As the gambling news in the Philippines report, a number of local officials, including city mayors, have been threatened by a local gambling mafia to accept bribes in exchange for allowing their illicit betting operations to continue.
Those who refused, now fear for their lives from the threats the gangsters returned in exchange for a cooperation denial. The mafia went as far as to offer huge campaign donations to those willing to accept the deal.

One Eyed Jack from Strongville's Brew Kettle: Crack One Open
20.05.12
Today's pick hit: The Brew Kettle's One Eyed Jack, a porter. The Strongsville brewer does a lot of things right -- food, on-site brewing and, of course, beer. As with any good porter, this is not heavy, even though it's as black as coffee. It has a restrained quality; chocolate flavor comes through but doesn't overwhelm. Roastiness barely wafts across the palate and leads to mild bitterness on the finish. At 6.5 percent alcohol, it has some oomph but doesn't smack you down.
